On Etsy since 2011

After taking a break from the corporate world to have my boys, I decided to explore my neglected creative side and decided to make myself some jewellery that I couldn’t afford, pieces that were a bit different than what was easily available. Before I knew it, I had friends asking for pieces and then boutiques asking if they could stock my designs. And so it began!

I then decided to create a fun and more youthful line, Lovely Sparrow & Co. to take to markets and that proved very popular, so I decided to take that online as well.

And so started a roller coaster ride of wholesaling to boutiques around the world, features in magazines and celebrities wearing my designs. What a fun roller coaster ride that was!

Life has taken a few twists and turns and I’m back in the corporate world, however, I really missed being creative, so now I design for myself and make a few bits and pieces extra for my Etsy stores. Hopefully one day soon, my time will free up to jump back on that roller coaster……
