Sometimes it's nice to challenge yourself to accomplish a task you might otherwise not do.
Here's an opportunity to challenge yourself to craft an item a week.

The daily listing challenge has been proven by numerous etsy sellers, including myself, to be a very effective tool to increase views and sales, but sometimes life can get very busy and keeping up to a daily challenge isn't always feasible.

On a less aggressive scale, the Weekly Challenge will still improve views and sales, but prove less stressful for those of us with families and work responsibilities.

The challenge is to post an item listing once a week but it is totally understandable that not all sellers can create quick and easy projects that can be finished in a week's time.

Ultimately, displaying a finished project as a listing and adding it to the thread list is the ideal goal.

*But it can also be displaying a "in progress" project, which encourages participation and gets us all moving in the direction of completing new items.

Display a project “in progress” on Facebook, Flickr, a blog or any photo website you have access to that you can share a link to show us your project of the week in progress.

This is a great opportunity to not only challenge yourself weekly in a new direction, but to increase your flow of creativity, your views and hopefully most importantly your sales.

“The Weekly Challenge” can be a color, a shape, a theme, or anything we, as a group, can think of as a guideline to be creative and inspire each other.

Thanks UxCritter. It is a great idea. I am committed to posting a least one new item per day! Today I have two new bags in my shop. Both bag are made from fabrics which were going to be tossed out or had a prior life. Hope someone likes them!
