Ok etsyBEAD members, here is the plan. Sunday, a thread will be started (by moi) asking for the New Theme Of The Week. First member to post gets to choose. Then, all members will be posting our thematic items to our Flickr group for the world to see.

Each member will also tag the Theme Item "EBTW" (stands for: "Etsy Bead Theme Week")as well as the name of the theme. For ex. "summertime blues"
This will make it EASY for all you interested buyers out there to find our Theme Items because they will be offered at SPECIAL REDUCED RATES!! Tentatively, 25% off!!! Woooo Hoooo!!!! Sale!! Buyers are sure to find something that interests them, and this hopefully will be a weekly event.
So...sellers and buyers...do you have YOUR free Flickr account yet??

If you've already got your Flickr account and just don't know what to do with yourself until Sunday's Theme of the Week announcement...you could always visit the EtsyBEAD blog at
www.etsybead.blogspot.com/
There is a list there of current (I think) members. If you are a buyer, and like someone's work, you could always contact them and *encourage* them to participate in this new event!!
We're still trying to get the word out to all! Last I checked, we had nearly 140 team members. That is A LOT of things to pick from when they all have a Theme of the Week item on SALE!!!

This sounds like a lot of fun. What time on Sunday do you think you'll be posting? I'm starting to think of ideas right now...hmmm, a bit taxing on the brain you know.

I'll probably be so excited that I will do it as soon as I have had coffee on Sunday morning. But I am in Pacific time zone... I am generally up late as well, so if the clock strikes midnight on Saturday Night while I am still, um, RESEARCHING etsy, then I will enter the post then! I will also provide a link for etsyBeaders on the google board. I *think* the uncertainty will add excitement and give different people in different time zones a chance over time to get their Theme in first. But if it becomes too annoying, we can change that.
