Original Post
Hi all!
I was thinking that it would be great for us all to try to meet up too in a similar way. I realise that some of us WAussies live too far away to get together but we could arrange a date and see who could come.
I think that the Sydney group focussed on was how to promote Etsy here in Australia, Sydney specifically of course and I think we could do a similar thing for WA.
I would prefer to meet in Perth city as I can really only get anywhere by train and thats central that way. Kings Park has also been suggested
Anyway, I have no idea for dates and where but we could at least get a discussion going.
To discuss this more, feel free to add here of course but theres a discussion going on over at the WA Etsy Sellers Flickr Group and on the Yahoo Group. I just wanted to let those of you who hadn't heard abou the idea know about it.
Amanda.

advice needed.
Ages ago I bought a pair of shoes on Etsy, they didn't show that the souls had these wierd metal tap things on them so I left neutral feedback as I really thought that should have been mentioned in the listing, I left positive feedback for the other pair I bought from the same vendor. She then left negative feedback for me. I have now been sent a second kiss and makeup offer.... I don't want to kiss and make up but should I?

Jane - I think she is the one that needs to do the kissing!!!! If something comes not as it is described then it is not as described!!!

thanks Bec, that is why I felt ok living neutral, I think she was the #$%^&* by leaving me negative :-)

are you going to be a seller? as a seller, i don't care too much about my buyer's feedback as long as it's mostly positive. anyway, i think the 100% is much more important if you're going to sell things.
anyway, have you already told the seller why you're upset about the shoes? i would try to make up, but fairly. if they aren't going to admit that they weren't clear enough, then that's not fair to you because i think you're complaint is legit.
i haven't encountered this before, so maybe others who have will have more advice.

Jane I think your feedback was fair so if you don't want to kiss and make up then don't.

OKAY, THAT'S IT!! I'M TIRED OF JESSICA WATSON!! IF I WANTED TO HEAR THE STORY I WOULD LOOK IT UP MYSELF, BUT IT'S ON ALL THE ONLY DECENT CHANNELS ON TV. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE ON ALL THE FREE CHANNELS?? WHY NOT JUST ONE?!!! PICK ONE! JUST ONE IS ENOUGH, DON'T YOU THINK?!
guess i'll have to pull out some DVDs...

yes, she contacted me after I left the feedback, I explained that I thought the taps on the shoes should have been indicated in the sale so I felt fair leaving the neutral. I doubt I will ever sell here on the Planet Label so it doens't worry me.

sorry, it's been a frustrating day... my ipod is all acting up and i've only had it for maybe 2 years. i cleaned all morning for our open house, then still no offers, and the two people that showed up don't want it. i listed an item on etsy yesterday and put it on facebook and, like, no one cared, so there's $0.20 down the toilet... okay that last one isn't really a big deal :)
we're moving on thursday, but i haven't been allowed to pack anything because of the open house. now, i have to have it ready by thursday, but phil doesn't get home until wednesday afternoon (even though i told him that thursday seemed too soon, urg). he's not worried at all.
seems like I'M the problem... hmmmm...
