a) "PAPER" (160 sheets-320 sides):
Good quality ivory-cream unlined 120 g paper, which has the feel of antique paper. It has FSC warranty and Acid Free. You can write or draw on ink and it doesn't bleed. Eco-friendly paper made by replacing 15% virgin tree pulp with processed waste from organic products.

b) "CARDBOARD" (60 sheets-120 sides):
Good quality unlined 250 g cream/black/brown kraft/ivory cardboard. It has FSC warranty. Recommended for use it as photo album or as a guest book if you would like to attach pictures also.

→ 3. When your book be finished, I will email you with some final pictures. I will ship after your answer.

♣ Approximately 14" x 19" (36 x 50 cm.) Paper inside measurements, cover is larger.
♣ To protect inside, end leaves with beautiful decorative paper.
♣ Authentic binding technique on soft cover, without glue, sewing directly on the spine with strong linen thread.
♣ Closed with a two leather ties that wraps around it several turns. Handmade leather buttons.
♣ FREE: Each book is shipped with a beautiful packaging for a gift.

♣ This is a custom order, the journal will be made specially for you! (main photographs are examples of custom orders).
♣ The personalization on the cover and the first page is incuded. It is free of additional charges.

♣ I can engrave your text in any language, but only with the roman alphabet as you can see in the samples.
♣ The engravings are not simply "written" or stamping with a machine: they are truly made by hand, blind tooled with original bookbinding brass types, letter by letter, and you can touch the relief on the cover.
♣ As they are premade bookbinding types, to engrave the main text I only use the style of capitals that you can see on the examples. To print a name, a date, or a singular word I also could use another size to make it harmonious.
♣ I'll engrave your text on the cover as near as possible you send me, but long lines will be made on two lines if there is not enough space. I usually choose the place on the cover (front or back) depending the length of the text, unless otherwise specified.

♣ I usually send two reminder messages after the first with the final pictures, but if finally I have no response I'll send the item to the Etsy address provided.
♣ I'll be happy to follow your preferences if you have something in mind (thread color, lighter or darker finishing, design arrangement...) If you prefer your book without leather flap outside, please let me know :)

I could need between 1-4 weeks for custom orders to be completed (please check item's description). Must be paid at time to the order.

* Personalized journals: I always send some pictures before ship to your email. To ship your book, I need confirmation of the address and a phone number. Please, check your email periodically after order your book.

I take and process the photos as similar as possible to the reality. However, it is obvious that slight differences will still exist, about the colors especially.

Please, note the leather is organic, and there are some differences between the pieces.

Ready-to-ship Orders will be packaged and shipped on 24-48 hours once payment is received. I will send you a notification that your order was processed, with the track number, so you’ll be able to follow the delivery status.

Please NOTE: you must have more time to manufacture the products in those items that are Made to Order (for example, Summum Meditatio Personalized Journals). This time should be about 1-4 weeks depending the item purchased.

All my items are shipped from Spain carefully and nice packaged, for gift.

-- If lost: You will receive a refund if the package is lost. I'll do after confirmation of Postal Service.
-- If delayed: You will receive the refund of the shipping costs once the package is delivered. A package is considered delayed after four weeks.
-- If damaged: If your package appears to be damaged by the postal services, you have to fill in a report at your post in the moment you receive your package, and send me a scanned copy of the file, in order to verify and proceed with the refund.

Words, a review, can't describe what this book has done for and to me. It's within arm's reach at all times except when I go hiking. Since its arrival, it's replaced the TV at night. I've fallen asleep, pen in hand, on this book countless times. The huge page format has completely transformed how I work and think. I've "worked on paper" for years, but not like this. It feels like 1/2 of my brain lives inside the book. The quality of the leather and paper are superb, the artistry is beautifully executed. The title I chose for this book was "Memento mori", my call to live life to the fullest. I don't understand why it's been the magic book it has, but I'm sure thankful for it.
