The Nordic Hooded Scarf is one of my absolute favorite scarves to make. So I decided to add another version of the pattern for everyone to enjoy. This one is made using a super bulky #6 yarn. it has a more generous hood and the scarf ends have a beautiful tassel fringe to finish them
I have also added an accompanying pattern for a super warm matching pair of mittens. That is also made using the same gauge yarn.

Scarf Measurements- Scarf measures 70" long x 6" wide, hood measures 18" around base of neck edge and 24" wide at top edge. Scarf fringe measures approx. 5" each side. (Fringe can be optional)
Mittens- Mittens are written for womens (one size fits most )They are fairly generous so they will accomadate a range of sizes, even a mens size small. They measure 11" long from tip to cuff including 2 " ribbed band and 7 1/2" around at the widest point.

This pattern uses size N 10.00mm crochet hook and a Bulky weight #6 yarn for the scarf and a smaller size K 10.5 6.00mm crochet hook for the mittens. Using a smaller hook for the mittens allows for a more dense and warm pair : )
