The quality and detail of this adorable sock monkey gal is wonderful. She has a darling pink and black outfit, pink shoes, hat, face veil, and a purse - (including a cell phone!) - with chain. The mail delivery system got confused, but the talented crafter, Cathy of Sock Monkey Village, made phone calls and got everything straightened out and on its way again ... like a true professional. You can have a ho hum, off-the-shelf sock monkey, or a standout one from Sock Monkey Village. I've bought from Cathy Vance before and will buy again. I should have seen this sock monkey coming. 14 eyes in all. Incredible detail! Clever and soooo unique. Plus, Eyerene sees into the future and pick stocks like nobody’s business. This doll far surpassed my expectations. Nice job!

This Is Where the Magick Happens!

I've been PLAYING / MAKING / CREATING since I was a young girl. That busy crafty gene was passed down from my Mom. All through my adult life I PLAYED / MADE / CREATED for myself and a few special friends. And then one day I received an adorable sock monkey as a gift. How I loved that little guy, named him Moe. After having one made for my daughter, I thought, I can do this! Here it is 35 years later and I still love sock monkeys.

Now I live in California's beautiful Sonoma Wine Country in the Valley of the Moon,
still PLAYING / MAKING / CREATING.

I love PLAYING my rebuilt 119 year old grand piano and PLAYING in the dirt!

I love MAKING sock monkeys. Watching a pair of socks transform into a silly, sweet, adorable, nonsensical sock monkey takes me into a magical place.

I love CREATING pretty things, crocheting, knitting, mosaics, painting, sewing, and paper crafting. After all, a gal has to do something in her spare time!

My studio, craftroom, office, whatever you want to call it, is a converted utility room, full of color and items that inspire me. It's my Lady Cave!
