After falling in love with this (sold out) design, I contacted Sai to see if I could still order one. She was very helpful, fast to respond, and just wonderful! I'd purchased one of her beautiful hedgehog bow ties earlier and love wearing that, so I'm very excited to add another pretty bow tie to my wardrobe! Anyway, this has been one of my best Etsy experiences and I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone:)

Bows that bring back lovely childhood memories

Take-A-Bow Amsterdam is a home based business in Amsterdam. Found by Cheung Pui Sai in 2013, an ex-RN, now a full-time mum, part-time stage assistance in a music venue.It all started because of a simple reason - I wanted to find good quality and beautiful hair accessories for my daughter (born in 2009). She has soft, fine and thin hair, it was so difficult to find nice clips that really stay in her hair from regular shops. So I started to research on how to make nice bows and hair clips for her. Then I started to give out my clips as little presents for my friends' little one and got good feedback. After a bit of encouraging and pushing from my dear husband and friends, I started this little etsy shop and selling my products.

All the bows are handmade, hand-sew and set on no-slip hair clips. Easy to use, durable and affordable. You will find bows suitable for the super sweet to the super cool, from subtle to bold, for little ones and big girls. And you will not find over commercialized and tasteless merchandised characters in the world of our beautiful bows. I would not make anything that I would not like to see my precious lovely daughter wearing it. Check out our Facebook photos albums to see our products and don't forget to "like" our facebook page so that you can catch up on our new creations. Wish you a beautiful hair day!

Since we don't have a selling point offline, our clips will be sold via facebook, Etsy and special market sell stall (market sale date will be posted on facebook).

Via Facebook: You can simply leave a comment under the photo of the clips you like, stating choice of colour and quantity.

Payment:
For customers in the Netherlands and Hong Kong, I accept bank transfer and PayPal.
Anywhere else, I accept payment via Paypal.

Hair clips will be posted (usually)within 3working days after the payment is clear. Registered post is possible with additional cost.

Hello, welcome to the Etsy shop of Take-A-Bow Amsterdam. Take-A-Bow Amsterdam is a developing home-based business formed by Sai(yeah that is me). A mum of an extremely cute daughter, learnt to make no-slip hair bow for her daughter because she was so disappointed by the quality of hair clips for kids that are being sold in shops in Amsterdam.

I had fun making the clips and got lots of compliments, so I started to make them for sell. I would not sell any clip that I would not be happy to see on my daughter.

I aim to make cute, chic, elegant, cool hair accessories and bow ties with quality and affordable price, so there won't be excessive packaging. I accept custom order, if you have a special wish/ concept in mind, feel free to send me a message and see if we can work something out. However, i DO NOT do Disney princess, hello kitty, mickey mouse etc. you get the idea (*wink*).

This is a little e-shop of a mom who wants to help bring food to the table, therefore, I don't really have a margin for bargain, except for wholesale order. I ask for your understanding.

Payment

International buyers should make payment via Paypal within 3 days of the ordering date. Buyers from the Netherland can choose to use paypal or bank transfer. Non-paid order will be cancelled and report for non-paid issue. Cancellation may be permitted in special circumstances e.g. out of stock. Since the clips are order-to-make, if buyer request cancellation after 24 hours of order, only partial refund will be issued.

Shipping

Since I do have to work part-time and take care of my girl, please allow up to 3 working days for me to prepare your order. Please feel free to email me for manufacturing time span for large quantity order.

I post via PostNL for domestic and international orders WITHOUT track and trace, on my regular listings. Risk is on buyer. Refund due to lost post(without track & trace) is not possible. However, a replacement may be send(if stock last) if buyer pays for the postage.

International orders: Price for post with track and trace will be much higher (23.30eur is the starting price for package post. 16.95eur for letterbox post, according to post.nl. If you want registered post or express post, it is possible, however, please contact me in advance, for shipping cost quotation.

Orders from the Netherlands: 6.95eur is the starting price for track and trace parcel post.

More information regarding shipping cost can be found on Post.nl and I am willing to check the price for you.

To minimize your packaging and shipping cost by using simple and minimal packing material. Parcel which cannot pass through a standard letter box will cost much more to post, it is post.nl 's policy.

If you have a special request on packing/ gift wrap, please convo me before placing order.
