1970's or earlier? For Dress, Jacket & Blouse patterns; choose the correct BUST SIZE, & make any necessary alterations in the waist and hips. An experienced sewer may be able to make adjustments in the bust. For Skirts & Pants, it is best to choose the correct HIP SIZE, & adjust the waist.

Junior, Teen & Petite sizes (ex. 7, 13) have different proportions than Miss sizes (ex. 12). The Back length; neck to to waist measurement is Shorter than Miss sizes.

Patterns vary in weight & thickness so the exact full package weight & method of shipping is not known until packing the specific patterns in an order. Shipping costs are estimated, we strive to get the best rates for our customers, including splitting orders at our discretion ■☆■

USA - $2.65 - $3.75 per additional pattern
Canada - $1.25-$1.50 per addit. pattern
Everywhere Else - $4.40 - $5.75 per addit. pattern

Almost all our patterns instructions are in English, sometimes there are also instructions in an additional language.

Even though some envelopes display writing in French or Spanish or Dutch or German, that is NOT always an indicator that the instructions found inside are multi-lingual.

In the text part of the listing, under CONDTION, is where we will note if the instructions are available or included in an additional language besides the standard English.

You can type "French Instructions", "Spanish Instructions", "German", etc.. into our Shop Search function, to find some multilingual patterns.

Please contact us before purchase if you are unsure if the pattern instructions are in your preferred language, and we will check for you.

Some patterns provide a level of difficulty/sewing ability recommended to use the pattern...from Easy to Average to Advanced. We have used our sewing experience to rate some patterns, especially older patterns

Buyers should use their own judgement before purchase to decide if their skills match the rating. For information on garment construction, look at the photo of the back envelope.
