Privacy Policy – SilverStarlightLearn
About this policy
SilverStarlightLearn is an Etsy shop operated by an individual seller based in Canada. This policy describes how I use personal information when you purchase from my shop or contact me through Etsy. Etsy is a separate service provider and processes information under its own Privacy Policy.
Information I receive
When you place an order, Etsy may provide me with information needed to support the transaction, such as your name, email address, order details, and information you choose to provide through Etsy Messages. Etsy handles payment processing and digital file delivery.
Why I use your information
I use personal information only as needed to:
- provide and support your purchase;
- respond to questions or resolve order-related issues;
- comply with Etsy's Seller Policy and Terms of Use; and
- meet applicable legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
These uses are based on providing the services you requested, complying with legal obligations, and my legitimate interests in operating and improving my Etsy shop, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Sharing and disclosure
I do not sell your personal information or use it for unsolicited marketing. I do not operate an external mailing list. I may share information with Etsy as necessary to provide my services and comply with Etsy's policies, and I may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid government request.
Data retention
I retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide my services and meet applicable legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements. I do not independently maintain a separate customer marketing database.
International processing
Because I am based in Canada, information I access through Etsy may be processed in Canada. Etsy may also process information in other jurisdictions under its own Privacy Policy. I do not currently use independent third-party hosting or mailing-list services to store Etsy buyer information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to access, correct, restrict, object to certain processing, or request deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If your request concerns information held directly by Etsy, you may also need to contact Etsy.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests relating to information I control, please contact me through Etsy Messages.
