ModStation3D — Shop-Story
Was wäre, wenn sich alltägliche Technologie weich anfühlen könnte?
Die meisten Peripheriegeräte sind rein funktional. Schlicht, minimalistisch, manchmal sogar etwas kühl. ModStation3D begann als etwas viel Einfacheres als das, was es heute ist, und ehrlich gesagt war der Weg dorthin alles andere als geradlinig.
Ich habe mehrere Jahre lang Nähen gelernt und eine Zeit lang professionell in der Branche gearbeitet. Doch als immer mehr Firmen die erfahrenen Hände durch schnellere Maschinen ersetzten, musste ich mir überlegen, wie es weitergehen sollte. Also tat ich, was sich natürlich anfühlte: Ich kehrte zu dem zurück, was ich konnte. Ich fing wieder an zu nähen, diesmal kleine Tierkleidung, die ich auf Etsy verkaufte. Wenn Sie in unseren Shop-Bewertungen weit genug zurückblättern, finden Sie vielleicht sogar noch ein paar Stücke aus dieser Zeit.
Die Tierkleidung hingegen? Die lief nicht so gut. Die Verkäufe verliefen schleppend, und ehrlich gesagt, ich wusste nicht, wie es weitergehen sollte.
Eines Tages stieß ich online auf Beiträge über Schreibtisch-Setups. Die Leute dekorierten ihre Arbeitsplätze mit den schönsten und originellsten Kleinigkeiten, und mir fiel auf, dass niedliche Kopfhörer-Accessoires besonders gut ankamen. Da machte es Klick. Ich fing an, Kopfhörer-Deko von Hand herzustellen, dann handgefertigte Kopfhörerständer, und die Resonanz überraschte mich wirklich. Ich bekam Bestellungen. Die Leute wollten tatsächlich, was ich machte.
Von da an entwickelte sich alles ganz natürlich. Kunden fragten nach Tastenkappen. Ich wurde neugierig auf 3D-Druck, brachte mir selbst 3D-Modellierung bei, kaufte einen Drucker und erweiterte so nach und nach das Angebot meines Shops um einen ganz neuen Bereich. Was als kleine Umorientierung begann, ist zu etwas geworden, worauf ich wirklich stolz bin.
Jede Produktkategorie in diesem Laden entstand dadurch, dass ich auf die tatsächlichen Wünsche der Kunden gehört habe, und so arbeite ich auch heute noch.
Artisan Keycaps sind wahre Meisterwerke der 3D-Kunst. Jede einzelne ist eine kleine Welt für sich, ob handgegossen aus Harz mit Schneeflocken, Drachen oder Blütenmotiven, die wie kleine, drückbare Edelsteine im Inneren schweben, oder 3D-gedruckt in Formen, die fast unmöglich erscheinen. Keine gleicht der anderen.
Kopfhörer-Accessoires sind meine Leidenschaft. Jedes Set aus Katzenohren, Hasenohren, Spitzenrüschen und Schleifen wird von Hand aus weichem Samt, Organza und Satinband genäht. Mein Ziel war und ist es, aus etwas Funktionalem etwas zu machen, das man gerne trägt.
Meine Kopfhörerständer entstanden ursprünglich in reiner Handarbeit. Ich besorgte die benötigten Teile und fertigte jeden Ständer selbst mit sorgfältig ausgewählten Anhängern und Verzierungen. Mittlerweile sind einige auch komplett 3D-gedruckt. So oder so, jeder Ständer hat seinen ganz eigenen Charakter.
Tastatur-Streamer sind die neueste Ergänzung: Spitze, Bänder, Perlen und kleine Metallanhänger, die sich am Rand Ihrer Tastatur befestigen lassen. Zart, handgefertigt und ein wenig verspielt.
Was mich in all dem am meisten motiviert hat, sind ehrlich gesagt die Menschen. Jeder Kunde, den ich durch diesen Shop kennengelernt habe, war so herzlich, so enthusiastisch und so verständnisvoll. Das weiß ich sehr zu schätzen. Jede Bestellung ist mir wichtig, und ich stecke viel Liebe in jedes einzelne Stück, das ich versende.

What if everyday tech could feel soft?
Most peripherals are built purely for function. Clean, minimal, sometimes even a little cold. ModStation3D started as something much simpler than what it is today, and honestly, the journey here was anything but a straight line.
I spent several years learning to sew, and for a while I worked in the industry professionally. But as more and more companies began replacing skilled hands with faster machines, I found myself needing to figure out what came next. So I did what felt natural: I went back to what I knew. I started sewing again, this time making little pet clothes and selling them on Etsy. If you dig far enough back into our shop reviews, you might even spot a few from those early days.
The pet clothes, though? They didn't really take off. Sales were slow, and I'll be honest, I wasn't sure where things were headed.
Then one day I stumbled across desk setups online. People were decorating their spaces with the most beautiful, whimsical little things, and I noticed that cute headphone accessories were catching a lot of attention. Something clicked. I started making headphone decorations by hand, then handmade headphone stands, and the response genuinely surprised me. Orders started coming in. People actually wanted what I was making.
From there, things grew organically. Customers started asking about keycaps. I got curious about 3D printing, taught myself 3D modeling, bought a printer, and slowly added a whole new side to the shop. What began as a small pivot has turned into something I'm genuinely proud of.
Every category in this shop came from listening to what people actually wanted, and that's still how I operate today.
Artisan Keycaps are where the 3D side of things lives. Each one is a tiny world of its own, whether hand-poured in resin with snowflakes, dragons, or florals suspended inside like a little pressable gem, or 3D-printed into shapes that feel almost impossible. No two are exactly alike.
Headphone Accessories are my roots. Every set of cat ears, bunny ears, lace frills, and ribbon bows is sewn by hand, using soft velvet, organza, and satin ribbon. The goal has always been the same: turn something functional into something you actually want to be seen wearing.
Headphone Stands started as a purely handmade thing, sourcing hardware and assembling each piece myself with carefully chosen charms and decorations. Now some are fully 3D-printed too. Either way, each one has its own personality.
Keyboard Streamers are the newest addition, lace, ribbon, pearl beads, and tiny metal charms that clip along the edge of your keyboard. Delicate, handmade, and a little bit whimsical.
The thing that has kept me going through all of it is honestly the people. Every customer I've met through this shop has been so warm, so enthusiastic, and so genuinely understanding. I don't take that for granted. Each order matters to me, and I put real care into every single piece I send out.
