I d not live in the USA and thus found the dimensions not relevant to the international standard, namely metric. Fortunately AI helped to "translate" the article. I did however like the design and explanations.

This was an extremely helpful purchase. The design is utterly comprehensive.

Plans are inaccurate. Drawings are not to scale. Measurements are inconsistent. I wasted good oak using the dimensions. Parts list dimensions are too short on top and bottom rails so rails and mortises could not be cut to fit. I brought everything into CAD software to fix the errors. (After wasting 6’ of ¾” x 1-½” oak)

I am part of the construction/ restoration crew for a 1905 Julia Morgan designed home. (Julia Morgan was the architect for Hearst Castle, and others). I am also the chair of the interior design committee, and I was desperate to find a period appropriate wastebasket (1905-1925). While looking on Etsy for other interior items, I was so excited when I saw the plans for this! With no hesitation, I purchased the plans and will be bringing it to work tomorrow--to let my mill work/ carpenters make 5 or 6 of these, which I will then seal and lacquer. We will probably be using Incense Cedar for the wood, as it will match the existing paneling (which I have lovingly restored). This truly was an answer to my prayers! The plans are well drawn out and wonderfully explained. My guys will love this! Thank you so much!
