Climbing Tree Press ist ein Mikroverlag für Kunst und Handwerk, der die Schönheit der Natur und der menschlichen Verbindung feiert. Es wächst im Haus und Herzen von Karen Viola (das bin ich). Mein Angebot umfasst Kunstdrucke, handgefärbte Bandanas und Totes, Mini-Buchkunstausgaben und eine Reihe von "Karten für eine Sache".
Ich war mein ganzes Leben lang ein Hersteller von Geschenken, Büchern und anderen künstlerischen Dingen. Ich finde Inspiration in den Mustern und Erzählungen der Natur, einschließlich des Menschen. Wenn ich nicht draußen beim Wandern bin, bin ich drinnen und spiele mit einem bunten Durcheinander von Materialien. Oder meinen Mann zu nörgeln, mir seine digitalen Kunstdateien zu schicken, damit ich seine Arbeit mit der Welt teilen kann. Mit all dem im Hinterkopf ist es höchste Zeit, dass ich einen Laden eröffne. Ich wünschte nur, ich könnte Ihnen eine Tasse Tee oder Kaffee und frisch gebackenen Keks geben, aber Sie müssen sich diesen Teil vorstellen.

I have been a maker of gifts, books, and other artsy stuff all my life. I find inspiration in the patterns and narrative of nature, humans included. If I am not outside hiking, I am inside playing with a colorful mess of materials. Or nagging my husband to send me his digital art files so I can share his work with the world. With all this in mind it’s high time I opened up a shop. I only wish I could give you a cuppa tea or coffee and fresh-baked cookie but you'll have to imagine that part.
