In meinem Atelier entwerfe, male, fertige ich Schnittmuster an und nähe Textilkunstwerke, und ich male die Miniaturkunstwerke für meine Anhänger.
Ich habe einen Bachelor in Textil- und Modedesign, einen Bachelor in Bildender Kunst und einen Master in Design studiert und arbeite seit über 25 Jahren als Designerin und Kunst- und Designlehrerin.
Als Malerin und Textilkünstlerin finde ich Inspiration in Naturfragmenten, Träumen und Visionen sowie in alten Formen symbolischer Kunst des alten Persiens. Mit einer persönlichen Bildsprache aus weichen, geschwungenen Bewegungen, fließenden Strichen und leuchtenden Farben drücke ich die Schönheit und das Glück der Natur aus. Mein Werk reicht dabei von gegenständlich bis abstrakt. Ich male mit Aquarell, Öl, Acryl, Batik auf Seide und in Mischtechnik. Meist arbeite ich in Serien, indem ich ein Inspirationsthema wähle und eine Kollektion der Werke anhand der verwendeten Materialien zusammenstelle.

In my studio I design, paint, make patterns and sew textile arts, and I paint the miniature art for my pendants.
I studied BA in Textile & Fashion Design, BEd in Fine Arts & Masters of Design and have worked as a designer and art and design teacher for over 25 years.
As a painter and textile artist, I find inspiration in fragments of nature, dreams and visions I experience and in old forms of symbolic art making in ancient Persia. I employ a personal vocabulary of soft and curvy movements, fluid marks and vibrant colors to express the beauty and happiness that resides in the natural world. Within this realm, my work varies from representational to abstract. I paint in watercolor, oil, acrylic, Batik on silk, and Mixed media. I tend to work in series by choosing a theme of inspiration and create a collection of the work in regard to the materials used.
