I'm a nanny who loves to create fun things for kids.

Hi! I'm Melissa, the Tomboy Nanny. I have been working with children and creating them little toys and gifts for... well, as long as I can remember. Everything in my shop is created by me, and inspired by my current charge: a gradeschooler in Santa Monica, CA.

I mainly make dinosaurs, since they are always a kid favorite. I also have patterns for sale, so you can make your own!

I prefer to use acrylic yarn for many reasons: it comes in a wide array of bright colors, it's easily washable, and it's hypoallergenic. Perfect for kids!
