When your graduation is approaching, you may want to send out graduation announcement cards to let people know about your academic accomplishment. If you’re unsure who to include, consider who you would send a holiday card to, such as extended family and close friends. A nice addition is anyone who played an important role in your academic journey, like favorite teachers, tutors, or mentors.
A graduation announcement card shouldn’t be confused with a graduation invitation card. An invitation card invites the recipient to the graduation ceremony or party. Make sure to send your announcement and invitation cards well in advance. Typically, you want them to arrive at least two weeks before the ceremony.
