KayCan Designs Story
My name is Gwen Kuchel and I am the Owner of KayCan Designs. I started KayCan 16 years ago as home business as a way to help with family expenses while also being able to be a stay at home mom. The name KayCan was created from the names of my children, Kayla and Canyon and most of my profits get spent on them. KayCan Designs has evolved over the years to include many different items for todays ever evolving paper crafter or for that customer looking for a special paper crafted item. We have everything from many unique and original hand made cards, mini cards/envelopes, paper flower bouquets, party kits, wedding decor and so much more.
During the time of the Covid-19, our company felt a decline in online sales due to fear of shipped items being contaminated. Since my family, as with a lot of families in worldwide experience, my husband also lost the families major source of income. I needed to figure out how to up my sales again. So KayCan Designs decided to begin designing customized digital files for crafters with electronic cutting machines and the response has been amazing.
