MadeByFire - How it all started

I discovered glass bead making while browsing the internet somewhere in 2007. Never ever before I heard of the possibility to melt glass and make beads yourself ...

From that moment on my mind was obsessed. I just knew this was what I had been looking for and what I wanted to do. I searched every little corner of the internet for more information about lampworking for months!

It took me a liitle while to get the equipment, time and workspace I needed to get started, but ever since I got my first burner (a hothead) in January 2008 I'm a glass-addict, making beads whenever I get the chance.

Since then my studio has been upgraded quit a bit, but what staid the same since then is my passion for glass. And I'm confident it will stay that way for rest of my live!

When I'm not making beads I enjoy playing with and caring for my little boy, giving craft classes at an elementary school, crocheting, photographing, the beauty of nature and spending time with my family and friends.

Please be aware that I´m located in The netherlans (Europe), so shipping can take a little longer.
Shipping items to the United States will normally take about 1-2 weeks.
