Where Vintage Meets Creative...
Als junges Mädchen erinnere ich mich, wie ich mich mit meiner Mutter in den örtlichen Secondhand-Laden in Niagara Falls wagte. Es gab imposante Steinstufen, die zu einem Keller führten, der mit antiken Schätzen gefüllt war. Dort begann meine Liebe zum Vintage. Ich stellte mir oft die Geschichte eines Möbelstücks vor, woher ein Gegenstand kam und wem es gehört haben könnte. Insbesondere habe ich immer noch einen kleinen antiken Roll-Top-Schreibtisch, den ich als Kind hatte. Ich erinnere mich, dass ich mir die Namen von Mädchen vorstellte, von denen ich dachte, dass sie dort vor mir gesessen haben könnten, wie sie aussahen und wo sie lebten. Vintage hat meine Fantasie angeregt. Meine Eltern, Brüder und ich schätzen noch heute viele der vor langer Zeit gefundenen Schätze in unseren Häusern.
Da ich aus einer kreativen und künstlerischen Familie komme, liebe ich die Idee, Vintage mit Kunst zu mischen. Egal, ob es sich um ein Druckerfach, die Dekoration meines Hauses oder sogar in meinem Garten handelt, Sie werden einzigartige Vintage- und Kunstobjekte finden, die mein Leben bereichern.

As a young girl, I remember venturing with my mother to the local thrift store in Niagara Falls. There were imposing stone steps leading to a basement filled with antique treasures. It was there that I began my love of vintage. I often imagined a piece of furniture’s history, where an item came from and who might have owned it. Specifically, I still have a small antique roll top desk that I had as a child. I remember imagining the names of girls that I thought might have sat there before me, what they looked like and where they lived. Vintage sparked my imagination. My parents, brothers and I still cherish many of those long ago found treasures in our homes today.
Coming from a creative and artistic family, I love the idea of mixing vintage with art. Whether it is a printers tray, decorating my home or even in my garden, you will find unique vintage and artistic objects accessorizing my life.
