A 'larger than life' hummingbird hovers fleetingly over garden flowers.

We love to sit and watch hummingbirds at our feeder. The show they put on is always amazing. There must be a thousand ways to portray these beautiful birds and I hope to explore this further.

From my original sculpture in clay, I made a mold. Into this mold I pour liquid cement or plaster. When the casting has hardened it is removed from the mold. I then create an entirely unique 'picture' with paint on the damp plaster much in the manner of ancient fresco. The result is a luminous piece of art, and no two sculptures are alike.

This item is intended for indoor display. If you require an item for outdoors, please convo me.

There are hooks on the back of the tile , so that it may be hung up like a picture.
