For the most part the wall sculpture here began as clay sketches for larger ceramics , woodcarvings and bronzes ...later they took on a life of their own, as distinctive sculpture expressions, signed and dated.

My major concern with any of the sculpture I produce is that the subject exhibit some life and character. It is this elusive 'life force' that interests me with this or any sort of art.

The wall sculpture you see displayed in my shop are cast in one of two materials. Hydrostone allows me to create brilliant painted color effects, but is intended for indoor display. IMPORTANT I do not recommend installing hydrostone sculpture as tiles. The concrete tiles are a bit more costly but allow them to be installed outside or as waterproof back splashes. Embedded hooks on the back enable sculptures to be hung like pictures individually, or as a group, to bring a touch of nature and vibrant colour to any space in your home , office or garden. My intention is to make the highest quality original wildlife art available and affordable for everyone!



I've also worked with ceramic tile in the past, but I'm really excited about these new concrete tiles. They enable me to create a wide range of sculpture and design images far more detailed and expressive than those possible with ceramic or porcelain materials.

Most recently, I've started to create some small pendants and wearable art. These have been a lot of fun , very intricate for the most part, and once again , cast in that amazing material, 'ordinary' concrete.
