The pattern is written for the base crochet tree and you can accessorize any way you like. These are worked up with RedHeart Yarn Supersaver and I’ve pictured them with and without decorations. The decorated versions are paired with a 50 light pack (battery operated) set that I picked up at a local craft store.

The toppers are repurposed Christmas jewelry and Voila! The options here are endless so work them up and show me your take!

They turned out beautifully! They stand on their own as promised, and I decorated mine with earring stud ornaments and a ribbon to make a full miniature tree! The instructions are clear and the stitch counts at the end of each row are great.

The instructions are very clear and it was such an easy & fun pattern. I’ve made four so far in various yarn weights & colors. (The small one only took about an hour and a half to make!) They will be this years Christmas decorations/gifts for family. Extremely happy with the outcome, still need to put the lights on & decorate them :)

This pattern did a great job of giving an idea of the technique you should use. I found myself frustrated with a few math mistakes within the pattern. In the end I was able to make several cute trees in a variety of sizes using this pattern.
