Detailed 27 page Digital Plans to create a beautiful, well thought out, and easy-to-build Chicken Coop and Run. These plans are automatically emailed to you after order where you can then print them off if you choose. I'm sorry but I do not print and mail paper copies of the plans out.

This coop allows for super easy access to the nesting boxes to gather eggs as well clean while ensuring it stays nice and dry. The coop also features a completely new and unique angled roost and droppings board design that allows for double doors to easily clean the droppings board and access the inside of the coop. The droppings board keeps the floor of the coop super clean and is very easy to clean.

This coop and run is designed for 4-10 chickens. The coop is 6' x 5' and the run is 8' x 12'. The coop and run can also be scaled up or down more or less chickens.

Cost to build varies greatly on your location and building material costs. Building materials have fluctuated greatly over the last couple of year but and so on average this coop should cost between $1000-$1500 to build.

I compared many designs on Etsy and went with this one. My husband followed the plans and did most of the work himself with me helping him on some parts and lifting. I did use the YouTube video as reference as well. While he admits he is no builder he did get confused on some of the angles. He also mentioned he had a lot of scrap wood in the end. *There is NO instruction for the chicken ramp into the coop* However, we are overall pleased with the design. We made a “support leg” for the tray under the roosts. We added a solar powered fan with solar battery backup because we live in the south with heat and humidity. He also made a small ladder from the coop floor to the tray so our young chicks could make their way to the roosting bars. We also wrapped the roosting bars with sisal rope. I would recommend this. 3 week build.
