Learn how to make your own Flower Eight Bracelet at home with this instructional tutorial and a simplified silver soldering technique that uses a hand-held butane torch with Argentium solder paste in a syringe. This five-page PDF jewelry tutorial illustrates step-by-step how to bend a length of wire into an oval shape from a precisely cut and marked section of 19-gauge wire. Next, we will apply solder paste to the oval’s joint and securely bond the oval frame with a butane torch against a heat-resistant Solderite board. Once the soldered design is cooled and cleaned, we will twist the oval frame between two Sharpie-pen mandrels to create the Figure Eight frame. Each circle of the Figure Eight is then embellished with complimentary gemstone colors and graduated bead sizes into an overlapping wire-wrapping pattern.
