This Code Practice Oscillator Kit is a very popular and practical device used in Ham Radio for practicing your Morse Code. It is designed as a One-Transistor, Twin-Tee, Audio Phase-Shift, Sinewave Oscillator with an Audio Amplifier on the output.
The kit produces a very clean sinewave of 700Hz
Note: 700Hz is extremely popular and very pleasing to the human ear.
Plug your existing key or "bug" into the 1/4" phono jack or wire it in directly and leave the phono jack out, your choice. You can even put in a momentary switch of your choice. The input requires a switch to ground to produce a tone.
The PCB is 2.0" x 3.0" and is very easy to build.
This kit is offered with a "Built & Tested" option for those that do not want to build the kit themselves.

It's a very nice kit and easy to assemble. It worked correctly for me without any problems. Basic soldering skills are needed but it is all through hole and not difficult at all to build.
This code practice oscillator kit has plenty of audio with a clean crisp tone. If deciding to build this as a kit, you need to be able to read a schematic and be able to do fine soldering. I bought the kit and have been an electronic kit builder for decades. I put the kit together in less than an hour. It worked perfectly once I soldered in all the components and connected a 9volt battery, speaker, and key. There are not a lot of in expensive choices for a practice code oscillator. I would highly recommend this one!
Definitely would recommend for someone who is wanting a simple, easy, and inexpensive Morse Code practice oscillator for school, personal use, etc. Shipping arrived WAY sooner than expected, and PCB borad was of utmost excellent quality.
