This DIY Cane Media Center is such a good beginner to intermediate woodworking project! We love the size of this TV cabinet and the basic door assembly for storage underneath. Approximate Final Size:
17 1/4” deep x 72” Long x 33” Tall

Tools needed (at minimum) would be a circular saw, drill/driver, square, pocket hole jig, clamps, stapler, and sander.

These PDF plans include 8-pages of step-by-step written instructions with visual models for reference with color-coding. You'll have material layouts as well as drilling layouts, which just show where each screw should be.

• (3) 2 x 2 x 8 Select Pine boards
• (4) 1 x 3 x 8 Select Pine Boards
• (1) 1 x 2 x 8 Select Pine Boards
• 18” x 10’ Cane Webbing Roll
• 1 1/4” Pocket Hole Screws
• 2 1/2” Pocket Hole Screws
• (8) Full Overlay 3/4” Hinges (May be sold in pairs or individually)
• (1) 1/4” Sheet of plywood
• Your Finish Of Choice (We used Walrus Oil Wax)

Love how this cabinet turned out! Only giving 4 stars as the hinges became very difficult and confusing. I wish I knew more to make each cabinet equally level.

The build plans were really easy to use and well laid out. Everything turned out perfect in the end according to the build plan and I'm not at all a carpenter. As a newbie the only thing that made me a little uneasy while building was that I wasn't sure if I was using the right thickness of wood and if that was going to mess up the measurements. In the end we used wood that was about 3/4in thick and it worked perfectly.
