Glass Island Designs' studio is located on a small island in the heart of the scenic Kawartha Lakes in Ontario, Canada. It’s here that owners Valerie and Steve design and create their unique etched and glassware and engraved gifts

All their graphics are from Glass Island Designs original artwork, and the willingness and ability to go the extra mile make them the number one choice for their many returning customers. Dividing the designing between them, Steve and Valerie rely on each other when a creative block occurs – although they never seem to lack ideas for new designs! Inspiration can come from something they see or hear, a suggestion from a family member, or a request from a customer.

Valerie and Steve both love a challenge, and are always willing to see what can be achieved. Quality of Service is one of the highest priorities for Glass Island Designs, and as such, Steve and Valerie are only happy when their customers are happy, allowing them to boast a 5/5 star review rating on Etsy. As well as the basic designs and personalization offered, they are always willing to customize and work with their clients on designs.

Quality and durability are a priority for all their products. Glass Island Designs' products have to be durable enough for everyday use, while still being elegant enough for weddings and corporate gifts.
All the etching of glassware is completed using a professional sandblaster, and the engraving of their other products are created in a professional laser engraver.
The finished items are cleaned, and carefully packed to withstand their journey to you. Glassware is wrapped first in tissue, and then in bubble wrap, then finally snuggled in a box surrounded by peanuts, all to ensure they arrive safely.
