En 2006, j’ai déménagé d’une grande ville à une petite ville. La découverte la plus étonnante que j’ai faite immédiatement après mon déménagement était qu’il était possible de MARCHER entre les endroits au lieu de conduire. J’ai alors réalisé qu’il y avait tellement de choses à voir en marchant qui ne pouvaient jamais être remarquées dans une voiture. Et, j’aurais vraiment aimé avoir mon appareil photo pour capturer CETTE fleur ou CETTE ombre que je n’avais jamais vue auparavant. J’ai donc commencé à porter mon appareil photo partout où j’allais, juste parce que je ne voulais rien manquer. Je pensais que d’autres personnes pourraient penser que ce que j’ai vu était « vraiment cool » aussi, malgré ce que mes adolescents disaient. Et ils l’ont fait. Donc, je m’engage à partager mon enchantement avec le monde caché mais évident qui est tout autour de nous tous les jours. J’espère que vous l’apprécierez aussi.

In 2006, I moved from a big city to a small town. The most amazing discovery that I made immediately after my move was that it was possible to WALK between places instead of drive. I then realized there were so many things to see when walking that could never be noticed in a car. And, I really wished I had my camera to capture THIS flower or THAT shadow that I had never seen before. So, I started carrying my camera everywhere I went, just because I didn't want to miss anything. I thought other people might think what I saw was "really cool" too, in spite of what my teens said. And, they did. So, I am committed to sharing my enchantment with the hidden but obvious world that is all around us every day. I hope you enjoy it too.
