The cover is heavy gauge poly that's pretty much indestructible, and the paper is the trademarked "Rite-in-the-Rain" waterproof paper - the best quality in the industry for decades. This product was designed to stand up to outdoor use, similar to ones used by field engineers and tradespeople. The Angler's Log fills the gap left by other books available for recreational fishing.
