Crafting in Slippers
Tagsüber bin ich ein Lesespezialist, der 5-, 6- und 7-Jährigen hilft, die Schwierigkeiten haben, lesen zu lernen. Nachts schlüpfe ich in ein Paar flauschige Hausschuhe, gehe in meinen Bastelraum und beginne meine Bastelmeditation. Aus einer langen Reihe von Nadelhandwerkern, Näherinnen, Tischlern, Malern und anderen verschiedenen künstlerischen Typen zu kommen, hat viel Inspiration und Ermutigung gegeben, die künstlerische Seite anzunehmen. Ich hoffe, dass mein Geschäft Ihnen das Gefühl der friedlichen Laune vermittelt, das ich bei der Erstellung der Artikel, die Sie sehen, gefunden habe.
Ich hatte den Segen, in NY, SD, SC gelebt zu haben, und ich wohne derzeit außerhalb von Boston in MAs Apfelplantagenland. Ich habe diesen Orten und ihren Bewohnern für den Lehrer und Künstler, der ich heute bin, zu danken.
By day I am a Reading Specialist who works to help 5, 6, and 7 year-olds who are having difficulty learning to read. By night I slip on a pair of fuzzy slippers, head to my craft room, and begin my crafting meditation. Coming from a long line of needle crafters, seamstresses, carpenters, painters, and other various artistic types has provided lots of inspiration and encouragement to embrace the artsy side. I hope that my store brings to you that sense of peaceful whimsy that I found in creating the items you see.
I've had the blessing to have lived in NY, SD, SC, and I currently reside outside Boston in MA's apple orchard country. I have those places and their residents to thank for the teacher and artist that I am today.
