Mistfell prend racine dans les montagnes. Je m'appelle Lucy et je vis à Xingyi, dans les hauts plateaux karstiques du Guizhou, au sud-ouest de la Chine, où des pics coniques émergent de la brume et où le sol recèle encore des fossiles marins datant d'environ 240 millions d'années. C'est un lieu riche en pierre et en artisanat, et c'est là que Mistfell a vu le jour.
Mistfell fait découvrir le travail d'artisans chinois au monde entier. Cette boutique met en avant notre artisanat : des pièces à porter, chacune confectionnée à la main par un artisan reconnu, unique ou produite en petite série.
Nous proposons des bracelets en cristal et en pierre naturelle, chacun conçu par une jeune femme de notre équipe ici à Xingyi et dont le nom est mentionné – la collection actuelle est signée Wu Yunhua. Ses créations allient le sens aigu des couleurs propre aux femmes à l'artisanat traditionnel de nos terres Buyi et Miao, où motifs, couleurs et ornements se transmettent de génération en génération.
Chaque bracelet est enfilé à la main, ce qui explique les légères variations entre les pierres naturelles : c’est la marque de leur authenticité. Au fil de notre développement, nous ajouterons d’autres créations artisanales et mettrons en avant de nouveaux artisans.

Mistfell begins in the mountains. I'm Lucy — I live in Xingyi, in the karst highlands of Guizhou, southwest China, where cone-shaped peaks rise out of the mist and the ground still holds marine fossils from around 240 million years ago. It's a place rich in stone and craft, and it's where Mistfell started.
Mistfell brings the work of Chinese makers to people around the world. This shop is our handcraft side — pieces you can wear, each handmade by a named maker, one of a kind or made in small numbers.
We begin with crystal and natural-stone bracelets, each designed by a young woman on our team here in Xingyi and credited to her by name — the current collection is by Wu Yunhua. Her designs blend a woman's eye for color with the craft heritage of our Buyi and Miao home, where pattern, color and adornment have been handed down for generations.
Each bracelet is strung by hand, so natural stones vary a little from one to the next — the mark of the real thing. As we grow, we'll add more handmade things here, and more makers.
