Inspired by a Backdrop of Fantasy
Rivetted is an independent fashion brand led by a single founder-designer with a distinct aesthetic rooted in subversive femininity, dark whimsy, and streetwear-influenced fantasy. After a multi-year hiatus during which the founder returned to fashion school to refine their skills, the brand is relaunching with a reimagined style, streamlined production strategy, and a renewed focus on creative freedom.
The brand's early years in 2014 began with creating leather pieces to wear at burning man, and were defined by a darker, elegant, and raw style that expanded over the years to include a jersey-based wardrobe of subversive basics—primarily in black with muted jewel tones.
Now, Rivetted embraces a more evolved visual language: Pastel and neon highlights, elements of coquette, cyber, kawaii, and gothic fashion. Signature details include ruching, draping, mesh, and ribbons; inspired by squiggly demons and tribal tattoo-style cybersigilism graphics; angel wings in both chibi and realistic forms.
While still inspired by alternative fashion and festival fashion, the new direction is lighter, more ethereal, and more expressive, with evolved skills and capabilities.
