I haven't received my order. What should I do?

After your purchase, you'll get an order confirmation email from Etsy. Here you'll also find a link to download your file directly from the Etsy website. Please check your spam folder if you are missing this email. In addition, Etsy can sometimes be a bit hard to navigate. How do your patterns work?

All our patterns come as PDF files and need to be printed out on paper. You can use the poster print function if you want to scale your pattern or simply work with the pre-sliced version that works for US letter and A4 formats. In addition, all files include a simple guide on how to put them together. You can also find short crafting videos linked in the product file or product description. Can you make me a costume / prop?

We do not accept any commissions at this time and we also don't have a lot of time to help out with tips for personal projects. Our work primarily focuses on teaching different costume creation techniques through our YouTube videos, crafting books and patterns. Can you make me a tutorial book / pattern for a specific project?

You can find all available products here in our own shop on www.kamuicosplay.com or in our Etsy Store. Please understand that we do not create tutorials, books or patterns on request. Instead, we try to keep our books and patterns as basic as possible, so they can be used for a huge variety of different projects. We simply believe this helps a wider range of people and might even inspire others to create their own designs and be more creative. However, we always keep on working on new products and hope you can find something that is helpful for your project as well.

I can't print anything out at home. What shall I do?

All our patters are digital files that need to be printed on paper. Visiting a printing store might help you here. It should be not a problem to print out the pre-sliced version of the pattern at 100% scale. However, it might get tricky if you want so scale your pattern up or down. Here you'll need to print out the full size version of the pattern, which requires a software with a poster/tiled print function. Not all printing stores offer this service though, so please be aware of this issue.

How long does it take until I'll receive my order?

We are selling only digital products, that should be instantly available after your purchase. Etsy will sent you an order confirmation with a download link for your file. You can also access all your files by following these steps: 1. Log in to your Etsy account 2. Click on “You” (top right) 3. Choose “Purchases and reviews” 4. Find the order. Click on “Download Files” (to the right of the order) 5. The file will go to your “Downloads” folders

A very useful Basic Bracer Pattern, perfect for many different costume projects! It can be easily adjusted, reshaped, added to and used for as many projects as you want! Just trace all parts to your favorite material, glue everything together and paint and finish it the way you want!

I recommend using 5mm high or low density EVA foam as well as contact cement to create these pieces. Other materials (like Worbla) work as well of course! Can easily be resized or changed to your own size. I used my own arm as the base for these patterns. 15cm (5.9inch) wrist circumference, 27cm (10.6inch) wrist to elbow.

It's super easy and incredible fun to create a costume! You can find more instructions on how to make costume pieces and props in my tutorial books or on my YouTube channel.
