At Death's Door Zine: Issue #1 - Funerary Tools

You can only make an offer when buying a single item.

This photography collection stemmed from a reflection and research experience that lasted for 2 weeks at the beginning of December 2022. I wanted to spend the first weeks of Winter sitting with Death and making note of the tools we still hold onto to accomplish the burying and honoring of our dead. In the U.S., death holds quite the taboo over our society BUT the dead still need burying or cremating or honoring or…something. So, while it is not often publicly discussed, the work for our dead still needs doing. This short zine is simply a spotlight onto some of those tools across various cultures and faiths. These are not the only ones, quite obviously, but it is a start, a shining of light upon the hidden.

Great zines on death. Bought these as someone interested in going into hospice social work but got so much more out of these.
