The planner has a simple and understated design: clear lettering, fine lines, Sundays and holidays marked in red, and small stars and branches as decoration. Weeks begin on Mondays. The days of the week and calendar weeks were generated and verified using a computer calendar; January 1, 2027, is a Friday.

Pages 4 to 15: One month per page. Calendar grid from Monday to Sunday with calendar week, one box per day (23.5 × 24.5 mm) with space for a note, holidays in red, other holidays such as Advent, St. Nicholas Day, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Mother's Day, or Rose Monday, and regional holidays in gray. In the corner of the day, the moon phase is shown as a small symbol with the word: New Moon, First Quarter, Full Moon, Last Quarter, a total of 49 moon phases per year, calculated for German time. At the top of each page are the days of the month as well as the new and full moon with the date. Below is the "This Month" box (174 mm wide) with writing lines spaced 7.4 mm apart, and at the bottom a key to the moon symbols.

HOW TO PRINT
1. Open the PDF and select print.
2. Set the size to Actual Size or 100 percent, do not fit the page.
3. Turn off borderless. All content should be at least 8 mm away from the edge of the page.
4. Normal paper from 80 g/m² is sufficient; 100 to 120 g/m² is more comfortable for pencil and eraser. Black and white is easily readable; in color, Sundays and public holidays are marked in red.
5. No cutting is required. To file, punch holes in the left side of the pages, leaving a 20 mm margin. To hang, punch holes in the center at the top. If you only need individual months, print only pages 4 to 15.

Tip: The annual overview on page 3 fits well on the refrigerator or a bulletin board. It's best to write your own appointments in pencil so you can still reschedule them.

GOOD TO KNOW
Only nationwide public holidays in Germany are shown in red. Holidays in individual federal states, such as Epiphany, Corpus Christi, Assumption Day, Reformation Day, All Saints' Day, or Repentance and Prayer Day, are shown in gray, like the other holidays, because they are not observed everywhere. The moon phases are calculated astronomically and based on German time; if a phase falls on the night around the turn of the year, it may be a day earlier or later in other calendars. The planner does not include school holidays because these vary from state to state.
