Ich freue mich sehr, die Wiedereröffnung meines Ladens bekanntzugeben! Ich bin voller Tatendrang und freue mich darauf, viele neue Ideen mit Ihnen zu teilen. In den nächsten Monaten werden Sie weitere Verbesserungen im Laden und bei den Produkten feststellen. Da ich meinen Laden als Großmutter wiedereröffne, werde ich dieses Jahr neue Produktkategorien einführen. Ihr Feedback ist mir jederzeit willkommen!
Ich eröffnete meinen Laden 2013. Meine Liebe zum Nähen hatte sich wiederentdeckt, und ich fand in diesem Ausdrucksbereich wieder zu meiner Leidenschaft zurück – daher auch der Name meines Ladens. Mein erstes Schmucktäschchen hatte die Mutter einer Freundin vor vielen, vielen Jahren genäht. Ich suchte online nach einem Schnittmuster, um es zu ersetzen, und war angenehm überrascht, das 8-Taschen-Schmucktäschchen von Sew4Home auf www.sew4home.com zu finden. Ich passte es etwas an und ließ mich von den vielen Batikstoffen inspirieren, die es in lokalen Bastel- und Stoffläden gab. Warum Batik? Anfang der 80er-Jahre lebte ich ein Jahr in Indonesien und besuchte eine Batikfabrik auf Bali. Auch bei Besuchen bei Verwandten in Japan entdeckte ich viele schöne und tolle Stoffe, von denen ich bis heute Inspiration schöpfe.
Gerne fertige ich auch individuelle Aufträge für Sie an, sei es für Schmuckbeutel oder andere Nähprojekte. In der Vergangenheit umfassten meine Aufträge beispielsweise Rollatortaschen und Schürzen, die ich nicht in meinem regulären Sortiment anbot. Ich bin offen für Ihre Ideen.

I opened my shop in 2013. I rekindled my love of sewing and "found my flow" again in that area of expression - hence the name of my shop. My first jewelry pouch was made by a friend's mom many, many years ago. I searched for a pattern online to replace it and was pleasantly surprised to find the 8-Pocket Jewelry Pouch by Sew4Home at www.sew4home.com. I tweaked it a bit and was inspired by the many batik quilting fabrics available at local craft and fabric stores. Why batik? I lived in Indonesia for a year in the early '80's and visited a batik factory on Bali. I also found many fun and beautiful fabrics when visiting family members stationed in Japan that I continue to draw inspiration from.
I am happy to fulfill custom orders for you, whether for jewelry pouches or other sewing projects. In the past, these included items such as walker bags and aprons that I didn't actually carry in my listings. I'm open to ideas.
