Finlay arbeitete viele Jahre mit dem legendären Albumcover-Designer Storm Thorgerson und seinem Team zusammen, um weltberühmte Kunst, Albumcover und Filme für Pink Floyd, Muse und viele andere Bands zu kreieren. Finlay war verantwortlich für die Konzeption eines der berühmtesten Bilder von Pink Floyd (Back Catalogue) und er war Co-Autor vieler Filme, die von der Band als Projektionen in ihren Live-Shows verwendet wurden.
Danach arbeitete Finlay in Hollywood an Filmen für Oliver Stone und andere, bevor er mehrere Bestseller-Bücher über Fantasy Art veröffentlichte.
Finlay hat das Handzeichnen schon immer als seine Haupttechnik verwendet – auch heute noch, wenn er mit Teams auf der ganzen Welt an komplexen Architekturprojekten arbeitet, zeichnet er immer noch von Hand.

Erstmals hat Finlay sein Archiv geöffnet und viele bisher unveröffentlichte Kunstwerke Kunstsammlern zugänglich gemacht.

Jedes Kunstwerk ist auf eine Auflage von 2600 Exemplaren limitiert.

Finlay worked with legendary album sleeve designer Storm Thorgerson and his team for many years creating world renowned art, album sleeves and film for Pink Floyd, Muse and many other bands. Finlay has always used hand drawing as his main technique - even today, working on complex architectural projects with teams across the world, he still draws by hand.

All the artworks are available exclusively to Finlay's Etsy store and won’t be found anywhere else.
Each artwork is limited to a print run of 2600 copies.
