Gaming is a Creative Outlet
I have always liked creating, whether is was (badly) drawing comics, writing RPG scenarios, or coming up with gaming accessory ideas.
This store came to fruition after a friend and I decided to make polyhedral dice lapel pins. We could always find D20 pins, but there was no love for the other polyhedrals. We ran a modestly successful Kickstarter and made the pins.
This store originally was called Pin Heads, which made sense at the time since pins was all I had. But in 2020, the creative bug hit again and I wanted to add more items. I added Fortune Dice, which was an idea that just came to me one day after looking at Gashapon toys from Japan. I also added sharp edge dice and began working on plans for a unique dice storage solution. It became clear I needed a new shop name. Geek Orthodoxy was chosen as it is also the name of my gaming blog I occasionally write.
My goals are modest. I am not trying to do this full time. I already have a good job. I just want to see some of my ideas take shape and see them in the hands of other gamers. Hopefully you like them.
