Authentically Catholic...Naturally Beautiful
This started out as a homeschooling project. We made some gifts for family and friends, took some pictures, and launched our shop. Then orders started pouring in!
Our whole family is involved. We all come up with the designs (usually during dinner conversations!). I do the sawing, wood burning, and managing; my brother paints; my sisters sand and sew the bags; my Mom is the artist; my little brother and sister test the toys; and Dad is “quality control”!
We have found in our own babies and toddlers a natural embracing of things spiritual. Inspiring devotion from the youngest of ages, our toys encourage loves and kisses. Recently our toddler made a sort of shrine out of large legos, placed her wooden crucifix inside, and promptly taught her baby brother to kneel and bow in front. Beautiful. All of our pieces are individual works of art. No one piece is exactly alike! Our products are custom handmade, natural, beautiful, safe, and toddler tested. Our toys are sure to inspire love and devotion snd hopefully become a family heirloom! With each item, we spend a lot of time designing and hand-cutting our own patterns, sanding to a smooth silky finish so all the edges are rounded, wood-burning every little detail in place, then adding the wonderful colors with a non-toxic homemade milk paint, using a wash to penetrate the wood, so the beautiful grain will show through. We hand rub in a wonderful smelling homemade natural beeswax wood polish to protect the toy and bring out the vibrant colors. Perfect for little hands and lots of loving kisses! Each item comes with a card that says our family has prayed a Divine Mercy Chaplet for the recipient.
10% of all sales will be donated to the Archdiocese of the Military to support our military chaplains.
