Our name says it all! CleanerTea is all about being a source of good clean nutrient-packed green tea,
directly imported from single origins in Japan. Our selections are not made at random. We spare no time to investigate and build a good relationship with the tea growers. We entrust our production partners with honesty and transparency in their business practices. At the same time, we feel that it is our appointed task to truthfully bring word to our customers of what and how they produce. That is why we work only with small family-owned farms that are willing to share their story of tea production.
All our teas are 100% organically or naturally grown in regenerative farming practices. The soil biodiversity is what helps plants grow healthy with nutrients. Our farmers protect the soil ecosystem for maximizing the microbe community. The usage of chemicals in tea production is never considered regardless of how little the amount is. Application of fertilizer is limited to the minutest and only from certified organic plant-based materials. Animal or animal waste-based fertilizers are avoided at all costs. There is no good reason to take the risk of contaminating the soil to speed up the process of biosynthesis in the leaves with added fertilizers. Our farmers know that it is best to let nature take its course.
The tea of our selections tastes natural, with a rather subtle but bright sweetness. They are sure to be packed with lots of antioxidative polyphenols and minerals. Responsible farmers with respect for the plant and living things naturally produce good-for-you-tea. We want our customers to benefit from every drop of our tea, cup after cup.
