Lauras Zeichen- und Mixed-Media-Arbeiten sind in Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen an regionalen und nationalen Orten erschienen, darunter die University of Hawaii, die MFA City Gallery (Baltimore), die Elaine L. Jacobs Gallery (Detroit), die Lemon Street Gallery (WI), die Bowling Green State University (OH), das Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (MI), das Illinois Central College, das Muskegon Museum of Art und der Lowell Area Arts Council.
Ihre Arbeiten wurden in The Best of Artists and Artisans (2006, Kennedy Publications) sowie The Art of Teaching Art (2000, Oxford University Press) und Drawing Essentials veröffentlicht; A Guide to Drawing From Observation (2008, Oxford University Press), zwei Bücher von Deborah A. Rockman.
Im Jahr 2009 erhielt sie ein Stipendium für das Provincetown Community Compact (MA) Artist-in-Residence-Programm an der Cape Cod National Seashore. Ebenfalls 2009 wurde sie mit einem Distinguished Alumni (Community Service) Award des Kendall College of Art and Design geehrt. In den Jahren 2011 und 2012 hatte sie das Glück, als Artist-in-Residence bei der Glen Arbor Art Association (MI) ernannt zu werden.
Laura's drawing and mixed media work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions at regional and national venues, including the University of Hawaii, MFA City Gallery (Baltimore), Elaine L.
