How Samu Ceramic Was Born
Hallo, ich bin Samira Amirzade Roomi.
Ich male leidenschaftlich gern, seit ich 9 Jahre alt bin. Dieser Weg führte mich an die Fakultät der Schönen Künste, wo ich meinen Abschluss in der Abteilung Malerei machte.
Während meiner Ausbildung entwickelte ich eine starke Verbindung zu Farben, Formen und der Kraft des visuellen Ausdrucks. Ich hatte immer einen Pinsel in der Hand und eine Oberfläche vor mir – doch mit der Zeit begann sich diese Oberfläche zu verändern.
Vor etwa zwei Jahren wollte ich die Begeisterung, die ich beim Malen empfand, wiederentdecken, allerdings mit einem anderen Material. So begann ich, mich der Keramik zuzuwenden.
Was als Hobby begann, entwickelte sich schnell zu einem bedeutungsvollen künstlerischen Raum. Ich begann, meine ästhetische Perspektive aus der Malerei mit der Textur und Form von Keramik zu kombinieren, um originelle Stücke zu schaffen.
Für mich musste jedes Stück sowohl künstlerisch als auch funktional sein.
Also begann ich, nicht nur Objekte zu entwerfen, sondern Kreationen mit Emotionen, Identität und einer Geschichte dahinter.
Jeder von mir hergestellte Artikel ist ein Unikat und absolut einmalig.
Samu Ceramic entstand als natürliche Erweiterung dieser persönlichen und künstlerischen Reise.
Durch meine Arbeit bringe ich Kunst in den Alltag – mit Stücken, die einfach, ausdrucksstark und voller Charakter sind.
Hello, I’m Samira Amirzade Roomi.
I’ve been passionate about painting since I was 9 years old. This journey led me to the Faculty of Fine Arts, where I graduated from the Painting Department.
During my education, I developed a strong connection with colors, forms, and the power of visual expression. There was always a brush in my hand and a surface in front of me — but over time, that surface began to change.
About two years ago, I wanted to rediscover the excitement I felt while painting, but with different material. That’s when I turned to ceramics.
What began as a hobby quickly evolved into a meaningful artistic space. I started combining my aesthetic perspective from painting with the texture and form of ceramics to create original pieces.
For me, every piece had to be both artistic and functional.
So I began designing not just objects, but creations with emotion, identity, and a story behind them.
Each item I make is one-of-a-kind and entirely unique.
Samu Ceramic was born as a natural extension of this personal and artistic journey.
Through my work, I bring art into everyday life — with pieces that are simple, expressive, and full of character.
