About 15 years ago I decided to make a piece of jewelry for myself. It was just an experiment as I’ve always loved doing things with my hands. Perhaps the passion started way back in time when I was 5 years old and my dad was taking me and my sister to jewelry market every Sunday morning, in the city of Athens, where I was born and raised. I remember my self to immerse my hand in the baskets that were full of tiny colourful semi-precious beads and asking dad to buy some in order to make summer bracelets.

I was very lucky when back in 2014-2016 I had the opportunity to have my own shop in the heart of Camden Town in London, where I used to live for 8 years. This shop, along with some markets where I use to sell my products, is where the name of the brand "Zingi Zongi" was invented and when for first time jewelry was my main source of income. Now, I live in Athens, Greece with my husband, our amazing son and our cute cat Pilie and I have turned my childhood's room in my mum's house, into my jewelry workshop place :)

I’ve always collected stuff and little treasures that inspired me but when I was younger and used to live with my mum, she threatened me that she will get rid of most of it because we were running out of room. I have a particular passion for collecting toys, cords, beads and I’ve always liked the idea of recycling. I have a lot of things like crochet bits and vintage jewelry from my grandmother and many times I incorporate it all into my jewelry.

After a lot of experimentinng, I started being really fascinated by liquid glass techniques that I decided to keep it as my main jewelry product style.

All of my jewelry are handmade, I never stock as when I receive an order I start making the piece from the beginning.
