This is a pattern to make the Junebug Sun Dress in size 12-18 mo, 1-2 todder, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 youth. You will need a PDF reader program to view the pattern. Complete with pattern pages to print and tape together, photos and instructions.The pages print on regular 8.5 x 11 printer paper. This is an adorable and easy dress to make and wear. Simple casual styling without all the ruffles and fluff. Perfect for a hot summer day. Also perfect worn over a little tee with leggings in the spring.

With alternate fabric folding you can make the 3 smallest sizes from less than 1 yard of fabric each. Depending on the selvages of your fabric you may also make the size 5-6 from 1 yard. If a little of the selvage is in the seam allowance, it wont be a problem. Otherwise, it would take a little less than 2 yards. Instructions are shown in the pattern. The largest size, 7-8 will require about 2 yards of fabric. You will also need 1/4" braided elastic and about 2.5 yards of extra wide double fold bias tape for the straps. You can add ric rac trim or other trims to the pockets and dress hem if desired.

*In addition to fabric, you will need basic sewing tools and supplies. Understanding of basic sewing skills. A little practice and experience with easy projects, knowledge of basic sewing terms. PDF reader program installed on computer, printer to print pattern pages. Wax paper or parchment paper to make copies of the pattern in assorted sizes if desired, markers. Sewing machine and or serger/overlocker, knowledge of clothing seam finishes using the machines you own. Scissors, measuring tape, thread etc...Plush toys or dolls will not require the use of a serger/overlocker and for most clothing it is handy, but optional.

**Regarding pattern printing, you do not need to print the entire pdf file with all of the pictures and instructions. Just print the actual pattern pages of the file and you can view/read the instructions on your computer as needed.
