Weave an heirloom quality table top piece that features a classic overshot motif. The pattern is intended for the weaver interested in advancing their skills. This is not a beginning weaving project. If you've woven some four shaft twills in addition to plain weave, you will be able to build on your existing skills. Included in the pattern purchase are clear threading and treadling charts, table with "Need-to-Know" numbers, warp thread counts, and clear written directions. There is a separate but optional "get acquainted with overshot" sampling exercise included within the pattern directions. Your finished runner will measure approximately 11.5" wide x 38" long.

Equipment: 4 shaft loom with 6 treadles, 10 dent reed with at least 15" of weaving width, 2 shuttles, scissors. Having access to a sewing machine is also helpful but not required; hems are handsewn.

Suggested yarns: 3/2 and 10/2 mercerized cottons in 2 contrasting colors. Color selection recommendations and yardage amounts are included in the pattern draft.
