I have received several compliments on the MBP leather cover. Processing/Shipping/Delivery time was a tad bit disappointing but ultimately worth the wait. Would recommend purchasing if not in a rush. I love the texture and look of the cover. I did not use the basic plastic cover for the undercarriage of the laptop. It does appear to be appropriate for that task if you use it.
