Welcome to our light and ethereal ‘Gossamer’ collection. This collection is inspired by delicate, woodland forms, the half light of dawn and dusk, and continues our themes of botanical sprigs and ancient classical mythology.

A 'Naiad' is an ancient Greek female water nymph, with both terms still being used to describe various forms of aquatic insect fauna today. Represented as beautiful, light hearted and beneficent they are associated with rivers, lakes and other inland waterways, with Nereids being the sea nymphs and sirens. All have been the romantic subject of many art forms for centuries. Our 'Naiad' earrings are heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau era.

This golden version of this beautiful, ethereal style is cut from solid brass, and textured on a series of anvils. Our oldest anvil is around 150 years old, and its still going strong! The resulting surface is unique, catching the light and creating an elegant, artisan look.

These are mounted onto gold plated wires. Earrings and ear wires can be easily replaced should you lose one, so do get in touch if you need anything, or if you prefer a different hook or metal type. All our postage and materials are plastic free.
