When I started training my dog in agility a few of years ago I was a little surprised and frustrated by the price of the equipment. I couldn’t afford the equipment so I built it. It took imagination and determination and yes, plenty of mistakes (way more than the cost of this book and several trips to the store), but eventually I had everything I needed to train my dog. We’ve been training, using this same equipment, and competing in agility since 2007. Agility is FUN so I decided that I could share. My instructions will save you time, effort, and money by literally spelling out what to buy (everything can be found at local home improvement warehouse stores, no expensive specialty pieces), what to cut (and what NOT to cut), and fit it all together into efficient and effective training equipment, using only common household tools (saw, drill, etc.).
