Dies ist ein kreativer Raum, in dem ich Originalkunstwerke und handgemalte Designs präsentiere. Jedes Stück ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, um Schönheit, Bedeutung und einen Hauch von Kunstfertigkeit in den Alltag zu bringen.

Mein Name ist Michelle, und ich bin die Künstlerin und Designerin hinter Cinder & Stream Design. Ich lebe mit meinem Mann Rob, unseren zwei Hunden und zwei neugierigen Katzen, die stets in der Nähe des kreativen Prozesses anzutreffen sind, in Cambridge, Ontario, Kanada.

Ich kann mich an keine Zeit erinnern, in der ich mich nicht für Kunst interessiert und den kreativen Prozess erforscht hätte. Meine Ausbildung und meine Fähigkeiten konzentrieren sich auf traditionelle Kunstformen und -techniken wie Acryl- und Aquarellmalerei, Zeichnung und Bildhauerei. Ich liebe es jedoch, verschiedene Materialien und Medien zu erkunden und mit neuen Techniken zu experimentieren, um Werke auf frische und unerwartete Weise zu schaffen. In der zweiten Hälfte meiner Laufbahn als Lehrerin hatte ich das Glück, meine Leidenschaft für die bildende Kunst mit meinen Schülern zu teilen und mich gleichzeitig selbst als Künstlerin weiterzuentwickeln.

Für mich ist Kunst mehr als nur die Erschaffung schöner Dinge. Es geht auch darum, Werke zu schaffen, die Gefühle wecken und die eigene Persönlichkeit widerspiegeln. Ich schaffe Kunst, die Teil des Alltags wird. Die Kunst, mit der wir leben, prägt, wie wir die Räume und Momente unseres Lebens erleben.

This is a creative space where I share original artwork and hand-painted designs. Each piece is thoughtfully created to bring beauty, meaning and a quiet sense of artistry into everyday life.

My name is Michelle, and I'm the artist and designer behind Cinder & Stream Design. I live in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada with my husband Rob, our two dogs, and two curious cats who are never far from the creative process.

I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in learning about art and exploring the process of creating it. My training and skill set focus on traditional art forms and techniques, including acrylic and watercolour painting, drawing and sculpture. However, I love exploring different materials and media, and experimenting with new techniques to create pieces in fresh and unexpected ways. For the last half of my career as a teacher, I've had the fortune of sharing my passion and love of Visual Arts with my students, while continuing to grow as an artist myself.

For me, art is about more than creating beautiful things. It's also about creating work that evokes feeling and reflects who you are. I create art that becomes a part of everyday life. The art we choose to live with shapes how we experience the spaces and moments that make up our lives.
