A Modern Approach to CRACK Math Fundamentals
Meet the brains and curator: Greetings! As a former high school mathematics teacher, any opportunity to continue pouring into education I take. Refurbishing teaching materials with a focus on subject fundamentals was the spark of Cracking the Code.
I currently work as a Project Manager in technology but previously had the honor to work as a High School Educator. With over 10 successful years of working with students in a classroom, third party tutoring company (i.e. Sylvan and Huntington Learning Center) and additionally my own tutoring business I found one common problem needing a solution. Students in a single learning environment had various levels of mastery in the foundations of a topic. I aim to focus on the fundamentals of a subject to help learners build a solid foundation, drive mastery and ensure they are ready to move on to the next topic.
Cracking the Code - what is it? - It is a digital platform created to enhance the learning experience for all students. Our content creator has taken a modern approach through mini lessons and worksheets to help students crack the fundamentals of a topic. Through mastery of each lesson students will find easement of comprehension and an "I can do" level of confidence for individual application.
Who is it for? It can be utilized by home school educators (formal teachers or parents) as a lesson supplement. Students are welcome to take these lessons in a self taught and application capacity.
